Sellers must ensure:

• All goods listed are legal for sale in Namibia
• No restricted, prohibited, or counterfeit goods are listed

Accurate and Honest Product Listings

Sellers must present products truthfully. Every listing must include:

• Accurate product titles and descriptions
• Clear and original images (no stolen or misleading imagery)
• Correct pricing, including taxes or fees
• Accurate stock availability
• Clear variation details (size, color, material, etc.)

Misrepresentation, fake images, or deceptive descriptions are strictly prohibited.

Prohibited and Restricted Items

Sellers may NOT list:

• Counterfeit goods
• Illegal or stolen items
• Firearms, ammunition, explosives
• Drugs, harmful substances, or controlled items
• Adult or explicit content
• Items violating Namibian law
• Intellectual property–infringing products
• Hazardous, expired, or unsafe goods

Digitaview Market reserves the right to remove any listing immediately without warning.

Order Fulfillment and Delivery Obligations

Sellers must:

• Process and ship orders promptly
• Provide accurate delivery timeframes
• Package items securely
• Communicate delivery updates to buyers when necessary
• Use legitimate courier or delivery channels

Delays, repeated late deliveries, or failure to ship may result in penalties.

Customer Service Standards

Sellers must uphold high customer service standards:

• Respond to buyer messages and inquiries promptly
• Be respectful and professional at all times
• Resolve issues in good faith
• Provide after-sales support where required

Harassment, disrespect, or abusive behavior is strictly prohibited.

Returns, Refunds, and Dispute Resolution

Sellers agree to:

• Honor their stated return and refund policies
• Respond to return requests within 72 hours
• Provide a Namibian return address
• Not unfairly refuse legitimate returns
• Not delay refunds for approved returns

Digitaview Market may intervene under the Buyer Guarantee if a seller becomes unresponsive or refuses valid claims.

Authenticity and Quality Assurance

Sellers must guarantee that:

• Products are genuine, functional, and accurately represented
• No counterfeit or imitation goods are sold
• Products meet safety standards
• Condition (new/used/refurbished) is clearly stated

Failure to maintain product quality may lead to penalties or removal.

Transparent Pricing and Fees

Sellers must:

• Display full and accurate prices
• Not artificially inflate prices
• Not charge undisclosed fees
• Pay platform membership fees and commissions on time

Attempts to circumvent Digitaview Market’s payment system are prohibited.

Data Privacy and Confidentiality

Sellers must:

• Protect all personal data received from buyers
• Use buyer information only for order fulfillment
• Not share or misuse customer information
• Comply with Namibia’s Data Protection provisions

Digitaview Market reserves the right to audit compliance.

Ethical Conduct

Sellers must not:

• Manipulate reviews
• Incentivize positive reviews
• Threaten or retaliate against buyers
• Engage in fraud or dishonest behavior
• Attempt to exploit the platform or its users

All interactions must remain ethical, transparent, and professional.

Intellectual Property Protection

Sellers must respect:

• Copyright laws
• Trademark and branding rights
• Patent protections

Sellers may not:

• Upload stolen images
• Copy competitors’ listings
• Sell replicas or trademark-infringing items

Digitaview Market cooperates with rights holders and authorities in IP enforcement.

Fair Business Practices

Sellers shall:

• Conduct business with integrity
• Avoid practices that mislead, confuse, or harm consumers
• Maintain operational reliability
• Provide consistent quality

Unfair competition or deceptive marketing is prohibited.

Platform Integrity

Sellers must not:

• Interfere with the website’s technical functionality
• Upload malware, scripts, or harmful code
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate sales or evade penalties
• Attempt to hack, exploit, or manipulate platform systems

Actions threatening platform security may result in immediate termination.

Accountability and Cooperation

Sellers must:

• Cooperate with Digitaview Market’s investigations
• Provide accurate information when requested
• Comply with audits or document verification
• Not obstruct platform policies or enforcement actions

Failure to cooperate may lead to suspension.

Consequences for Violations

Digitaview Market may take one or more of the following actions:

• Warning or corrective notice
• Listing removal
• Temporary suspension
• Withholding payouts
• Permanent account ban
• Legal action (where applicable)

Acceptance

By registering as a seller on Digitaview Market, you acknowledge that:

• You have read and understood this Seller Code of Conduct
• You agree to comply with all platform policies
• Non-compliance may result in penalties or account removal
